Bethany Christian Services is asking our congregation to consider co-sponsoring one of their newly arriving refugee families. Steve Quakenbush and Jodi Ohman invite you to come, learn more, and consider how you might participate.
Co-sponsorship would take roughly 6-10 people who are willing to commit to a minimum of 6-8 months (though there are plenty of opportunities to extend that). Bethany would match us with a family according to our interest/experience. Our commitment would include hospitality/friendship, transportation to various appointments, meals, shopping, cooking, connecting with social services, English classes, and more.
