Welcome to FirstCovGR

Our purpose is to be living evidence of a loving God.
Our mission is to be followers of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.

We hope our church can be a place where you connect to others and find a home. Here at our church, we believe in the core values of inclusivity and redemption, grace and love and, above all - the transforming power of Christ. We never arrive, but we are all committed to walking the journey together. Our dedicated team would love to connect with you and hear more of your story, and help find the best place for you to flourish.

Current Sermon Series:  DiscipleSHIFT - How you live matters.   The Sermon on the Mount begins with Jesus’ description of the citizens of his kingdom. These are not different groups of people. Each beatitude is meant to characterize each of us as Jesus’ followers. They reach a climax in words that are not beatitudes, but instead simple, powerful metaphors that help us understand the relationship between kingdom citizens and the world around us. Join us for Christ's Journey to the Cross during Holy Week!

This is an invitation for ALL and a space for EVERYONE to gather during Holy week each night for a place of worship and prayer at FirstCovGR. We will meet in-person each night in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm beginning on Sunday, March 28 through Good Friday, April 2. Each gathering will last about 45 minutes and include simple worship, prayer time and a short understanding of the Journey that Jesus made to the Cross.  We encourage you to come as many nights as you can.  Even if you can only attend one of the nights, we know it will be a blessing.

We will end the week on Easter Sunday, April 4 with Celebration at our Worship Services.

Traditional at 9am and Contemporary at 10:30am, in-person and online.
