Samuel Joung

Worship and Young Adult Director

Samuel is passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it
liberates and transforms people. He loves to express God's love
through a variety of creative outlets, using everything from drums to
cameras to brushes. He has led worship at his schools and the local
churches since his early teenage years. Samuel is a techie and a
collector of musical instruments, computer input devices, and kicks.
Raised in Southern California, he studied film at Calvin College
before pursuing theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. His
journey has taken him across the globe, serving as a missionary in
Japan and working throughout Korea and the US. Samuel is married to
his better half, Sun, and they have two lovely boys, Dylan and Lennon.
His favorite Bible passages are Matthew 6:33-34, Romans 5:8, and
Ephesians 5:1-2.
